Last year my wife and I walked part of the Camino de Santiago with a couple of friends. This year we decided to walk the Dingle Way, on the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry, in the west of Ireland. We walked about 115km over 6 days. We carried day-packs (and cameras) but the rest of our luggage was transported for us from lodging to lodging (mostly B&Bs). We were very lucky with the weather, though we did get some rain. The landscape and scenery were stunning and every day was different. Here are some of the hundreds of photos I took on the trip. I took my K5 and my DA 16-85, which I used 95% of the time. I also brought my DA 35mm Ltd., which I used a little bit. I was really happy with camera and both lenses.
