Very nice captures, Mike. I really like the lighting in the second shot. It's almost like the little goslings have a halo.

Wonderful wildlife series there, MikeNArk. I really am impressed with the results you are realizing with that gear combination. I also like Sigma, (Bigma) equipment. Well done and many thnx for

Numbers two and four really appeal to me!
I was just thinking that I need to get out and see if the little goslings are swimming yet.
Now I see that they are.
Great shots.
And I'm sure you really enjoyed capturing them.
Angky.

These shots are really terrific, Mike. I particularly like the second one and the last one. You certainly have your ducks in a row!

Thank you. Truth is, I had some difficulty processing this shot. Some parts were overexposed. Glad that you liked the result.

Thank you, Tony. I have been satisfied with the gear. I alternate between cameras, dependent on usage. The Sigma 170-500 usually stays on the K-5IIs. Glad you like the shots.

Thank you, Angky. I had thought the geese had left the area, but I guess they were just busy raising the goslings. It was fun watching them. Glad you liked the images.

Thank you. The geese looked pretty relaxed here and didn't seem bothered by our presence. It would have been easier if the cypress trees hadn't been obstructing viewing in several areas.

Thanks, David. I like seeing them out swimming with the parents. Each one seems to know its position.

Thank you, Julie. Geese can cause a mess if there are too many but a single family is fun to watch.

Thanks you. It's fun to watch the geese make an orderly swim across the pond. Even on shore, the parents provide constant vigilance while the goslings forage for food.

We have the same issue here with muscovy ducks. Rather contentious in some communities. But the ducklings are too cute!
