This is old diner sits just off the expressway in a small town just a few miles north of me. It used to be quite the hopping place. Lots car shows and people hanging out showing their old cars. I used to be one of those people years ago. This diner was actually featured in television commercials back in the 1970's. The Bounty paper towel commercials had their character, Rosie who clean up something someone spilled on the counter. Those commercials were shot in this diner. It was moved to this location in the early 1980's. About 15 years ago the original owners retired and no one wanted to buy it. The time for places like these had past. So now it just sits waiting for someone to hopefully bring life back into it.

Nice shots of the diners. I think there is a similar dinner in North Little Rock that is still open. Not many around any more.
