The past few days, we have had Rose-Breasted Grosbeaks and Summer Tanagers visiting the area. The Grosbeaks will probably move on but the Tanagers are probably here for the summer. Some shots.

Thanks, David. Since we noticed them, it has been overcast on most days. It made it hard to get good photos. I still haven't managed to get a photo of the Indigo Bunting that showed up recently.

Thanks. I have had trouble getting a good capture of the Rose-Breasted Grosbeak. The one that I posted doesn't show much of it's red colors.

The results you get with your skills and and your equipment work well together. Well done and keep posting.

Thank you very much. I've been trying to get the lens that I use adjusted for better focus. I don't do it according to the instructions per se. I usually just pictures of the same subject over and over at different settings until I can determine the best adjustment.

Thank you, Jer. The birds are here for the moment and the biggest problem has been finding the right light (or enough light) to photograph them.

You know your birds!
And you do well capturing them.
In fact, you do well even in seeing them1
I've seen only a couple of noisome scrub jays and crows.
Maybe when my sunflowers come on I will be able to get some wrens,
Your birds bring a lot of color and info.

Thank you, Angky. I fill our feeders with sunflower feed so maybe your sunflowers will bring some in. As I've noted before, we are fortunate to live in a semi wooded area. There are plenty of trees in our yard and several undeveloped lots are completely wooded. This probably brings in birds and wildlife. Thanks for you kind words.
