Ironwood Dreams (abandoned historic stone cabin - night photography/light painting)
Posted By: Ken Lee, 05-15-2023, 01:57 PM

I hope you are all doing well, and thanks for the people who contacted me! I've been away for a while because of various things, including a night photography trip at Nelson Ghost Town in Nevada, south of Las Vegas. This went super super well, really smoothly, lots of fun, with everyone learning tons of stuff. I incorporated this as part of an eleven-night night photography trip through Nevada and Route 66 as well! Anyway, here's some information about this cool stone cabin from a previous trip in April.

Ironwood Dreams
~~~~~~
Check out this night photo of this abandoned historic Southwest stone cabin, likely built in the late 1800s. It glows at night, illuminated by a warm handheld light during the long exposure. The person who built this was a renowned artist who loved nature. It's amazing to think about the history and stories these buildings hold. Thanks!
You can tell by the stonework, the colors and patterns that the person who built this had an artistic flair. Very nice night shot lighting to show its attributes.
