This one is dark and mysterious, but oh so pretty. That rose has the perfect rose structure and your capture shows it well. Great colors and detail, Tony.

You got the lighting on the tips of the petals making an excellently detailed rose.
Beautiful burgundy.
Did you and yours have a glass of dark red to accompany the rose?

Thank you very much for your very much appreciated review and kind words. This was a challenge that was somewhat risky. One quarter stop down and it would have

been underexposed and one quarter stop up and it would have washed out, thereby losing that amazing color Mother Nature so generously provided for our viewing

pleasure. Aperture priority in this instance was truly a Godsend.
