I'm giving the robins a break and taking some shots of the Ruby Throated Hummingbird that come to the feeder every 15 minutes or so. These were taken with the Pentax 55-300 lens at around 150mm A flash was used..--charliezap.

The flash helps to show that ruby throat and freeze the action. All very good shots. I wish our hummingbirds showed up that often.😊

That flash brought out all the vivid coloration in the individual feathers.
Good to see that the robins got a break!

Besides that, the hummingbird has a more refined table manner!
