Leaves in Reds and Yellows

The rain today stopped after about 2:30pm, so I went for a walk at a local park and Japanese Garden this afternoon. Found some great colors for January. I have to say I am very happy with my new K20.

Fall in Maryland came and went in about 2 weeks this year. Winter is here now. Thanks for sharing a last look at Fall even if it is 3000 miles away. Nice shots and color.

Thanks very much for your comment. I have to say, I was quite surprised to find such bright colors at the park in January.

Nice scene! In January, you say, so there might be a thing called winter too in California? Or kind of..

Usually by March or early April the leaves will be back.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. And yes, the winters are mild here in the San Francisco area. We do get some freezing temperatures at night in the winter, but not any snow. Mostly was get a lot of rain in the winter. But we are having a drought now - not much rain rain so far this year.
