A few days ago we took our first walk on a nature trail recently completed in Conway to see what might be along the Stone Dam Creek. Here are a few shots from that first walk down the trail.

Thank you, Dewman. It does have some interesting photo ops. The creek runs through part of Conway with open fields, and also directly behind some housing and apartments. I shot images of the Red-headed Woodpecker on this trail. The BIF image is a direct 1200 X 800 pixel crop from the image. It came out better than I expected.

Beautiful wildlife series. I especially like the turtles. I imagine you had to go to a faster shutter speed in order to reduce motion blur with those guys. ))) Nice work and many thanks for posting.

Thanks you, Tony. I will say that turtles can move faster than snails.😊 Of course these turtles weren't moving at all. I was moving faster than them, so a fast shutter was necessary.🤔 I am glad that you liked the series and appreciate your comments!
