40 image focus stack of a lock keyway
Lens: Laowa 24mm 2.5x-5x ultra macro f/2.8 Camera: Pentax K-1 Photo Location: San Antonio ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/640s Aperture: F2.8

I picked up an open box Nisi 180mm macro rail. It's a step up from the old Neweer 4 way macrorail I'd been using.

I decided to give it a trial on a master lock and used my Pentax K-1 and Laowa 24mm 2.5-5x ultra macro lens. at 2.5x f/2.8
Here's a 40 shot focus stack of the keyway along with a 100% crop.

What an excellent Macro, Close-up series. Not easy to accomplish this level of I.Q. A very well constructed photographic journey. Many thanks for posting.

It really is an excellent macro. Evidence of a lot of misses inserting the key.😊

Thanks, or it is evidence ot a lot of attempts at unsuccessfully picking it.
