Wow, Heinrich - an amazing series that takes us step-by-step to closer views. Good to hear from you again!

Hi Jer and thank you. My postings have been, and will continue to be very sporadic My eyes are not in goo shape (AMD). The vision changes, some days are better (or worse ) than others, it also depends on how the bi-monthly shots work. But at 91 I am not complaining.

These are fabulous Marcos. Whatever technique you are using, I would love learning how to do these kinds of macro photographs. It is great to see the macro world this close up. So well done!
Thank you for the kind comment, ther is not much of a technic to learn. I use a homemade flashy diffuser ala forum member "Rense" thali he posted quiet a few years ago
Aside from that it takes a lot of patience keep in mind that the success rate is low. In case of this posting: that little twig is always moving in the wind, the ants are constantly on the move and I am hand holding the camera and the focus area is very thin. So there is a whole lot of luck involved. If I get one good image out of thirty I am happy. The last imge in this series is a 100% crop.
