But since I haven't posted a shot in this section of the forums yet, I thought I'd give a swing at it.
After testing the K20D for about a week, I decided to go out and get a bit more serious with it. This year I made a "new years" resolution to myself deciding to dedicate more time to my photography business then I did last year (other big responsibilities keeping me from it), so this was my first serious outing in nearly.... 9 months (still shooting before but not, well.... for "keepers").
Although I won't be using the K20D for my shoreline work, I had it with me never the less and decided not to pass up on a moment here with a passing storm.
Shot on a tripod at the waters edge about a half mile walk from the Dana Point Ocean Institute, while the tourists stayed up on a crowded jetty elbow to elbow taking pictures of this scene (give me isolation or give me death!).
One image, processed from raw (lots of headroom in those raw files... grin). Taken with the impressive kit lens (the 18-55 DA II) that I really like quite a bit.
Thanks for looking,
Carl
