I call this photo "Matthew Prays to the Pumpkin God". My nephew Matthew, like many kids his age, will turn his face to the camera but he just cannot keep his eyes on it as well. This means there are lots of pictures of him looking off to the side, as if watching for an attack, while his face looks forward. I took this at my parent's house in Tennessee with my Pentax *ist DL using the 18-55mm kit lens.
