My Rainbows in NC!!
Posted By: arpaagent, 01-08-2009, 12:05 AM

Alright, someone else saw these rainbows this evening as well. I figured I might as well post the view that I had. First couple are from 5th floor of an office building, shooting through a wet window. Had to PP a bit. Others are from the ground.

C&C are welcome.

1. Hah, you can even see an OOF reflection of "Pentax" from my camera in the first photo.

2. Here, I was trying to get the whole thing, but wouldn't fit through my window! By the time I made it to the ground floor, the rainbow had mostly disappeared.

3. And you thought that a pot of gold was found at the bottom of a rainbow?

4. The clouds that evening also created a couple nice shots (w/ my car)

Hey another pentaxian in Raleigh! woohoo! Yesterday was the day I was prepared to take my camera with me to work, only at the last minute to leave it at home because I thought what's the use... doesn't look interesting, and then I step out of my building in the rtp area and bam that double rainbow is right there!
aaarrrgghh!!
great pics by the way!

Great to hear you are in Raleigh, Shaloot. You'll get the shot next time, I am sure! Always nice to know about other nearby pentaxians. I tend to take my camera a lot of places, just in case something like this happens. Anytime that dramatic weather changes are happening, there is guaranteed to at least be some very nice sky shots, and this time just happened to luck out with the double rainbow!

Thanks! Although I need to get out an shoot more, but working during most of the sunlight hours doesn't always agree with that.

Sounds like you've got a candy white VW as well? Maybe there should be a study done regarding the trends in pentaxian behavior!
