My nature photography class went on a 3 day shooting trip up north. All in all it was great. I was the only Pantax user amongst a see of Nikons. On the second day I also met 2 tourists. The first was a photography student from Amsterdam (who knows not the merits of Pentax) and an older doctor from London who loves taking pictures who invited me to get together with him if I’m in the area. It's always fun meeting new people. The view was also amazing. Unfortunately the first day was really windy which doesn’t work so well with macro and the second day we had to alternate between sitting in the car during showers and then running out to take photos till the next shower. The 3rd day we had snow, The K10D worked without a flaw. Odlly so did the D70s and only one D200 shut down because of it. Talk about interesting photo weather. It was really interesting. Anyways I finished processing the photos, from about 500 I'm down to 64, most of them can be seen here- Northern Israel . All the photos currently posted on the site so far are with Pentax.

6-10 are all greats. first five a bit seen-two-many-times-already. technically they are all very good though. 6 is my absolute favorite. i love the lines in the shot, almost symetrical, but getting away all the time

It is the curse of the fish eye to bend the world so that we can never quite grasp it... Was that philosophical or what??

I really like the horizontal B&W. A couple of days ago I was printing some exhibit photos for my daughter that were taken last July in Israel. Quite a contrast between her shots of the Dead Sea and your pictures of snow.

My mom grew up in Stamford and I was actually just there (about 2 weeks ago) visiting my grandparents who still live there... . Had I known I could've probably caught the exhibit. Maybe I should see if they'll let me exhibit there... I'd love to show my photos somewhere...
