Simply outstanding, Heinrich! The clarity of your macros always impress me. Hard to say which ones I like best, but the spiders with prey and the closeup of the grasshopper's head really stand out to me.

Really nice shots as usual Heinrich. Those jumping spiders are rampart here in the spring / summer. They are definitely not afraid of something ( someone ) 5+ feet bigger than they are lol.... dodged a few out @ my parents' place quite a few times this summer.

Thanks for looking and commenting. These little jumping spiders are all over the country and they look the same whether in Alberta or on the East Coast. Not afraid of anything is right, I have watched them taking on prey 5 times their size.

Take care,

I was in the valley, Cambridge and Wilmot-Greenwood area but those little spiders are every where. Unless you look for them you will probably never notice them, they are only 1/8 to 1/4" long.

Take care,
