This afternoon, I did some shooting in the little church of Hemmen with my Pentax M 35mm.

#1: 1/45, ISO 400, f≈2

Very nice light and colours, my favourite is the close-up of the wall.

The way the light is coming across the room and hitting the stained glass in that last shot makes it almost look like a ghost is looking out the window with the woman.

Ray, this picture (with my wife: she is the woman, not the gohst...) is the less nice one of two. Somehow I overlooked the better one, but I will post it tonight.

Somehow, my pictures loose quality when posted here, but I already read many threads covering this problem, so I will try compressing my photos in another way. This one is a good example: it looks soft and OOF, although the original is quite sharp and brighter.....

I also struggle with this. It's a bit of a lottery whether your pictures are going to come out the way you want them when you post on the net. Just the way it is, I guess, but I understand your disappointment when you work hard to get a really nice sharp shot and it just doesn't give of its best on the forum. Nevertheless, the feeling and the atmosphere in this lovely old church are very appealing, so your work wasn't in vain by any means.
