Pentax actually liked two of the shots I submitted to the gallery. I was a little surprised at the ones that they selected from the ones I submitted so I don't know what they are looking for. Still, I didn't think any of my work was going to be a good fit so I am happy they picked something.

Perhaps they are looking for a wide variety of shots and yours fit the bill in that particular area artistically.

They might have also appreciated it for the technical aspect of the shot, as Branimir pointed out.

I like the contrast and colours in the shot as well.

True, the other shots I submitted may have represented an area that had already been filled. I'm not too worried, I was surprised they selected any of them. Just happy to be a Pentaxian and represent the team as best I can.
