Coupla Robins

Nice out this afternoon. Thought I'd try some bird shots. Taken with K20D and Sigma 100-300 f/4 EX DG. Close to 100% crops.

Is this lenses new ,with so many branches it seems a bit out of focus and not quite sharp enough ,as this lenses has a excellent reputation

The lens is new but the photog is old. I need a lot more practice.
