I am trying to work on solar photography, preparing for the upcoming solar eclipse. I am not getting the results I expected. Iím using a Seymour Solar filter: Helios Solar Glassģ Camera Filters - Threaded ? Seymour Solar

The filter description says the images should be light yellow. What am I doing wrong?

It is good that you are getting an early start. I had a glass solar filter in the 2017 partial eclipse that produced similar orange colors. I really think that you can just try different shutter speeds and apertures to zero in on the colors you want. 1/2000 and F10 setting are probably not permitting enough light. I shot some last October at 1/250 and F8 last year. They were orange, but not that deep orange.
