Shot these two late today. Was loosing late quickly. Everytime I tried to get closer they went into the water. Could have used at least 500mm len. These were shot at 500- ISO on the first one and 640 on the second... 200 mm F 3.5 at 1/80 sec. [hand held] Needed to shoot these at least a hour before this. [little underexposed and at this distance focus was a little difficult. Weather has been crappy for the past few days so very little time spend in the field. Cheers JIM

Thank you Fiveo.. Personally I am not that happy with the shots. Too little light and too far away.. will try again under better conditions. JIMBO

The fact that you are spotting the beaves in the wild is simply a hard task to do. Really great shot itself.

Thanks Taff.. I wanted to get so much closer but the little fellows just didn't want me near them. The light was very poor. Thank you for commenting. JIMBO

Thanks James... I almost missed them as it was so dark. I had to have a +2 exposure and F 3.5 to get the shot using TVA... Not the best conditions but a good learning experiance for me. Need some big class sometime this year. Cheers JIM

Ummmm...yes...

Jimbo,
You are very lucky to get pictures of beaver in the wild. They are very shy and seem to know what position to take to make photography difficult.

Thanks Steve. No Beaver do not like people taking pictures of them. Everytime I moved slightly closer that went for a swim. JIM

Right, thanks, have to admit that I get the funny side of the title only now Being a non-native in English, I tend to keep many finer aspects either as typos, or just don't get them..
