Not your typical photo post, but...

These are some photos I took tonight of my mom's paintings (she wanted to put up better representative pics for her Etsy.com site). All with the K20D and FA 50 f/1.4, done in AV mode, f/4.0, ISO 400-1600, depending:

This lens is so damn sharp...

Thanks, guys. It wasn't too hard to keep reflections out--matte finish under fluorescent bulbs with those refractive plastic covers you see in offices all the time. I think you can see a bit of glare on the upper left of #2 and #3, but maybe they're just a bit faded there. I can't recall exactly at the moment.

It was pretty hard to adjust the white balance to get them true to life, though (still not sure I entirely did it).
