Bovine humour
Posted By: JMR, 01-13-2009, 07:56 AM

A little bovine humour. How can you tell we are Canadian eh! Nice try, not by the cows but by the spelling of humour, of course; Anyway, I flipped this one upside down because I recognized the humour in the way the cows were looking at me and not being able to recognize or see themselves as we do. Try flipping it back; they look shy and wary, whereas in posted version they look majestic, almost posed.

You almost had me Dave. I was thinking maybe I made a mistake and they were moose; but then I noticed there was no snow, so they couldn't be moose- or is that mice for plural.

If the plural of 'goose' is 'geese' then it would follow that for 'moose' it is 'meese'.

Ok, I'll admit it. Until I read that you'd flipped this I was wondering what had caused one section of the tree to blur....
Great shot!

Hey, thanks for looking and commenting. Quite right about the moose plural. Was going to write 'meese' but it just didn't sound or look right to be funny.

Keep turning them up and down like that and you end up with instant milkshake
If the plural of spouse is spouses why not mouses? Or spice?

This looks like a commercial for milk products. Very fun to watch though. The mirror image created looked natural to my eyes and the photograph itself works nicely.

Very good.

Brings to mind a caption: "well, damn it Daisy...I'm sure I saw another herd"

Cheers

Well after reading these comments, I take it as a proof this photo is humorous in deed — just as I also felt it my self! Love the reverse angle!

On the contrary

Singular: moose

Plural: moose, (chiefly humorous) meese, (dated, rare) mooses
