Sun after the storm

After a snow/ice storm the sun came out. I was interested in the bright light, so I shot these with a Tamron Adaptall SP 35-80 2.8-3.8 CF with the K-A adapter, mostly in Av or P mode (depending on situation) and often with +2 exposure compensation to emphasize the light. I kind of like the impressionistic results, though I did attempt some real focus as well.

I would stick with the real focus shots. The Bokeh on them is exceptional. Not sure about the artistic part of the out of focus shots. They look out of focus to me.

But, it's only my opinion.

agreed... i didn't read the text at first and when i saw the first shot... i was like "uhhh... bluuuurrrr"

Very fine, I prefer the second one.

And thanks for the tip, regarding +2 exposure compensation. Are these film or digital shots ?

I too like the subjects in focus, though I guess I don't appreciate the impressionistic look all that much...
