Which Road to take
Posted By: JMR, 01-14-2009, 04:50 PM

Got tired of bovine humour and am too busy to go out in this -20 cold!! So I decided to take different road to the forest. Got there and found each a little less travelled.

1st and last one are simply superb! I like them all and you do have this unique vision that I wish to have!

Agreed with James - first and last are my favorites, no question. Very appealing patterns!

Very different, yet very capturing effect JMR. #3 is my fav but there's something about #2 that grabs me pretty tightly as well. I don't always comment, but know I always enjoy your work, JMR.

Thank you all for your comments. Susan, don't look behind that curtain, ignore that little dog and the man in the white hair. The great PP (power of post processing) has spoken. As long as we get back to Kansas, it's all a dream. Yes a few people have expressed sentiments about the darkness of the last image. So I will tap my toes three times and hopefully I will one day join you in the honoured land of the Great Pentax Gallery.

Then it wouldn't be unique James.

JMR, wonderful shots as usual, the first and last are outstanding.

The first is a masterpiece of real art, imo, not sure about the mirrored images...

I really like the first one. It looks like an excellent charcoal drawing.

Thanks Jeff. Second time someone has said that. This is actually a mirror image, but I did not like the symmetry so I cropped it and made it somewhat asymmetrical and random looking.
