Missing My Cat
Posted By: deadwolfbones, 01-15-2009, 10:34 PM

Had to leave her in Atlanta (with a friend) when I moved out to Santa Fe last summer. She was a stray who showed up at my door and was EXTREMELY persistent.

Cute, too.

When I miss her I just look at these pictures. All with kit lens or Quantaray 100-300mm:

Thanks for looking!

Awwwww ... how cute for a stray.
Lovely looking cat ... such a shame it was a stray ... but at least she was well looked after by you.

My wife and I took on 2 kittens from a stray (that turned up at my in-laws stables one day) ... she had a litter and we kept 2 of them.

Clementine is lovely. I like the one with your hand holding her head.

I hear where you are coming from. After 30 years of living with cats I can't sleep anymore without a couple of them in bed with me. I have 3 now but have had up to five.

Thanks! I particularly like the first and third in regard to the angles. The first is one of my favorites, period.

Really cute cat and good images too! I like the composition of the last one.

It's too bad that you couldn't bring her with you.

Oh my darling...

Clementine

What a cutie... they do make impressions and become real members of the family... I am surrounded by strays who have found me!

They make the best models... and lens test subjects...

Very nice shots by the way.... Love the paw shot!

Hi!
It's easy to see why you're missing Clementine. What a pretty kitty!

Ours are both geriatic at this point, not nearly as cute, but still cuddly, especially when it's cold!
