Well, there is something called a sweat bee that actually
is a bee. They like to lap up human sweat, thus the name. However, they are unaggressive and even if they did sting you, it wouldn't hurt much (perhaps unless you're allergic). Bees and wasps generally only sting when they feel threatened, i.e. you squash them or you appear to be threatening their nest. They have well-defined flight paths that you should avoid. Yes, I've learned that one by experience... several times over!
