Had a brief shower this afternoon and saw the sun setting through the trees lighting on these that we just planted at the mailbox. Walked back to the house, snagged the 100D and got a few decent shots.

All in all, not a bad afternoon in my book!

Beautiful shots! Both are great, but I prefer the first because of its broad range of colors.

What's the magnification on the second?

Thanks Adam. I shot the second with a +4 filter at 55mm. Got to make due with what I've got for now!

I love zinnias. Maybe you should try gazinias, they're perennials.

Never heard of 'em!! Knowing about them and all is the wife's area. I just plant 'em, water 'em and take photos of 'em!!!

Greg, were you using the kit lens with the close-up filters for these shots too? My, my, my, I gotta pull that out of my bag more!
