You did really well to get such beautiful captures. Rainbow lorikeets don't stay still for long, as you would know. Another confirmation that the 55-300 is next on my list. Very fine shots, mate.

Thanks all for the comments. They are a beautiful bird, and , in my favour, the abundant fruit keep them very occupied for quite a while.

Beautiful colour there.

This means that the habitat is rather wet and humid to render the bird colourful.

Thanks guys, , that tropical drink sounds OK.
Yes they are a beautiful bird, but somewhat very noisy.
I have had a couple of Female Bower Birds (very rare to see) visiting as well, and have been trying to get a shot but they are extremely timid, they stay deep among the leaves.
