Stormed cabin
Posted By: jpzk, 01-19-2009, 06:34 PM

This is from my gallery on this forum.
I like the effects rendered with the sudden snow storm today afternoon.
I used some "tweaking": little adjusting with "curves" and filtering with "water colour" effect.
Actually, this was supposed to be a birding trip! No bidrs in sight whatsoever.
Hope you'll enjoy the Québec "back roads" winter.
JP

I really like it when someone can capture the essence of the weather and the atmosphere of a scene. Very well done.

Thank you, JMR.
Indeed, it is often difficult to capture the actual "weather", be it wind, rain, fog or snow.... etc.
To tell the truth, it most often takes more than just a few images before I get the result I want.

I really like it. I feel cold and isolated just looking at your photo.

Capturing falling snow flakes is not easy, this has succeeded nicely!
