Edmonton "Nature" photography

The man down the street from me has a dovecote which he inherited from the Belgian gentleman living there previously.

Any criticisms welcome!

That is a nice series - some really sharp shots in there. I love the title as well

Nice group of shots. I like the first one with the out-of-focus dove with the open wings in the background.

Nice shots, that first one is great considering the white feathers against a pretty much white background. Good job!

Thanks guys!

This old lens continues to impress me. I'd really like to learn to master it's OOF rendering, it somehow even makes bare branches and snow into a soft background like an oil painting.

And, as a bonus, it seems to attract small animals...

Maybe because I kept it in the bag with the granola bars?

wow you managed to catch a sharp image of one of the birds blinking... thats pretty cool (and fast)

She (he?) was sitting on the wire soaking up the warm weather we've had recently - kind of slowly closing her eyes the way a cat does when they are comfortable and warm...
