Gulls and DA*300 (3 shots)
Posted By: tcom, 01-21-2009, 02:01 PM

After long hesitations, I finally decided to get the DA*300. I received the lens yesterday and managed to get a few test shots this afternoon, despite lack of light:

1
K20D, DA*300, 1/200s, f/6.3, 640iso

2
K20D, DA*300, 1/320s, f/4, 640iso

3
K20D, DA*300, 1/200s, f/5.6, 640iso

I looked at the full-sized versions on Flickr and it looks like you have a winner! Very nice...

Thank you both for your comments.

While not optimal weather, I am really satisfied by the lens.

LBA. Ahrrgg! A fine series of images. Did your shoot offhand or on a tripod/monopod?

Very nice and clever use of the leading line and patterns here. Love it!
