I threw a rock in the water

and took 2 pics, all C/C welcomed...

Great shots, but I would have waited a bit to get the ring of ripples spreading out. I think that would have made a more dramatic shot, especially as they distorted the reflections in that mirror smooth lake. But I love the colors. I think the first shot is better than the second.

IMO, both photos, especially first would have been much better balanced if you had the stone on the right side.

Both beautiful, but I personally like the shape of the splash on the first one better.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I was hanging out in this area waiting for the sun to go down when I just picked up a rock and threw it in the water. Not planned or set up for it, I was just goofing off. My DS was set to auto bracket and in my right with the rock thrown with my left hand. The third pic of the bracket showed almost no splash but not yet any ripples. I was surprised as to how clear the splash and reflection came out.
Plus, I just wanted to post some pics...

Good idea.
I don't think I could throw a skipper left handed. I guess I'll have to do a 'rock meets water' shoot and set up on a tripod...
