One month in China
Posted By: Lazar, 01-24-2009, 04:00 AM

http://www.lazarsimeonov.com/china

Taken in July and August 2008 with a K10D, 90% were taken with the DA* 16-50mm, the 10% remaining with the DA 70mm Limited... I was back-packing so I took the minimum.

you have been to Guilin. A beautiful scenic place and hope you did not get robbed

I would love to visit the place one day myself. Great photography there

Wonderful series with so many beautiful shots. Love the farm shots and the cave. Do you have more of the cave?

Guilin is beautiful (I spent 2 days there and no, I didn't get robbed ) but if you go a bit further on the Li River you arrive in Yangshuo, and it (and the area around it) is even more beautiful (I planned to spend 2 days there but finally remained 6!)...
Not too far from Guilin (2-3 hours by bus) are also the famous Longji rice terraces, definitely worth the visit and if you can, you should spend one or two nights in the small and remote (especially if you go to Jinkeng and not Ping'an) villages next to the rice terraces.

Yangshuo and Guilin... I miss them both so much!

Thanks for the stroll down memory lane- VERY nice photos.

I think you really captured the spirit of these places, which is not easy to do.

Great series.
Yangshuo is great. You have captured this really well.

What area were the terrace farming shots and the sheep?
