I went out and took a few shots today although it was -28 cel here today with a stiff breeze. For many of these I was in drifts almost up to my waist, but I'll let you judge if it was worth it.

That was well worth it Scott, you have some very nice images here. It's supposed to warm up next week, should get my old butt out for a few hours.

That is some beautiful work with the lighting! I find it very difficult to get great shots when the scene is so dominated by the white of the snow. You really have to capture and work the intricacies of light in order to get separation and degrees of white--it looks like it comes easy to you though.

These are all well done but #3 mixes great light with awesome shadows. Where abouts were these taken Scott?JIM

These were taken out in the country just west of the town I live where the fields are open and the wind is able to carve the snow drifts along the roads into odd shapes. A few were taken in a ravine out there as well.

Wow! Those are great winter shots. The shots were worth your effort and having to deal with the cold.
