Looked back and found a couple of more shots of the old house. Will be re-shooting this in a month or so. Cheers JIM

Wow! Jim, this is great!

I am doing a series of old cottages and derelict houses. I just found the above striking. The contrast and the colour are really unique. Good old structures to love!

I note the colours look different in each image. Have they been manipulated? Doesn't realy matter that much, they are still pretty good.

Very interesting shots, Jimbo. The colours are such a diverse display, it works very well. I'll be looking forward to the next round from this site I'm sure they will be just as good or not better than these ones.

I'd have to cringe... not at the shot but at the house... Were the owners color blind? or was it just left to rot?

Otherwise, nice capture. Do you have more shots of houses like this? =)

Small adjustments in curves and one I increased the brightness slightly to see what the difference would be. JIM

Thanks maritimer. I think by changing up the lenses it could improve the shot along with different lighting. Should have another set in a month or so. Jim

Stunning subject, I like these a lot, even if the white balance seems a tad too cold for my taste. That could be the natural state, though?

Very inspirational Jim. The red and green shingles make me jealous. Well done, to say the least!

I think this house is good a opportunity to try some abstract type images.
