"Will you put the camera up already?"
Posted By: GLThorne, 03-22-2007, 10:43 PM

That would be what she was probably saying here. Went to the barn to get the desiel cans and Mia was at the corner a few days back. So, when I got finished fueling up, I got the camera and got a few of her. I let her fade back to sleep as to not bother her too much but I got this one that, I think, shows that wonderful, sleepy feeling most of us love to have!!!

Hope you enjoy.....

Nice job with focus and exposure.

I do find the background a bit distracting. What about selecting it and decreasing the saturation/brightness a bit?

Top of the cat's head - is that color accurate or a bit of CA?

Wow, Mia looks very similar to my cat (Velcro) on this shot!

I forgot to convert from Adobe RGB to S-RGB. It'll look different when posted on the web by over saturating the shot. I'll convert and post to see if the backgrounds better. Out of town right now so I'm on the 'ol work lap-top. The re-post will be next week.

Color on her head is accurate. She's almost got a purple patch on the top. Weird shade of black!!!

Thanks for the comments!!

I agree, she and Velcro could be siblings!!!

Nice shot, Greg! I agree with Bob, though, the background to the right is a touch distracting.
