Last of the Zinnia shots......
Posted By: GLThorne, 03-22-2007, 10:49 PM

Had a few more that I liked somewhat and thought I'd post. Hope you don't mind there's been so many of these wonderful orange flowers. They capture the evening sun so well!! Maybe the red ones will be next!!

Hope you enjoy these as well..............

I like that first one. Orange against blue - such strong colours contrasting against each other

Nice ones--great colors. Any special lighting or was it just natural lighting?

did you bought those?
4-Lens Close-Up Set, 52mm: Porter's Camera Store: digital cameras, film camera and photography accessories

or you went with bigger thread size and bought step up rings?

I really like the first one. also. The blue background really sets it off.

Excellent set as usual Greg, I must admit to a bit of jealousy. Only outdoor flowers I can shoot now are skunk cabbage and the occasional snow drop. Really nice colors, I like the composition and juxtaposition of the orange and green in the third especially.

Thanks Salty! Appreciate the look and comment, as always!!!

darkstorm82 - yes that's the Porter's kit I've got. The 52mm kit works quite well.

Thanks all for the shots. Might be some more as they have really taken off since I hit them with some fertilizer!!!
