Before I comment, a question(s): is this something you just stumbled across or is it a subject you repeatedly return to and try to shoot?

I like the color contrast between the bench and the foreground. I find my eyes drawn to the grassy area behind the bench and wondering what the paving stone (?) are. Personally, I think I would prefer a different vantage point, maybe including more of the evergreen on the right side for further contrast of color and shape. Or perhaps a more shallow DOF to blur the background more.
What is it that drew you to the scene? Are you satisfied with the image?

The paving stone and new grass are, I think, just for an effect in the area.

And, no, I'm not particularly satisfied nor an I particularly dis-satisfied.

I agree the DOF could have been a bit shorter.

I find there's too much to look at - the bench, the tree, why is some grass green, some brown, the paving stones...

May be B&W could be better?
