Rocks of Yie Riu (Includes a pano)
Posted By: roentarre, 03-25-2007, 06:29 PM

The weather has been quite fickle - I had a cyclone type of weather one day, and a sunny sky another day.

Last few days I had shot at least 1200 shots - I had never felt so tired holding a camera!

Yie Riu is located at the north coast of Taiwan - the rocks were quoted "floated" from below.

I kind of did some shots around the place - I did not really take my time to do some decent shooting (a pity)

Hope you like the shots

Starts with a pano - overview of the place I am kind of hooked into pano lately

Queen Head Rock

Fa 31

Fairy Shoe

D FA 100 macro

Candle Rock

D Fa 100 macro

Glans

Fa 31

Stairs

Da 14

Fa 300

Hope you like the shots

Nice shots, but did you add a black background to the Queen rock photo? Kinda odd...

Roentarre,

Now you need to add a reddish sorta background to Queen Head Rock to make it look like it came out of a sci-fi movie

Great shots! Candle rock is a wierd one too!

I found my photos 1/2 over exposed in that place. I should have been more careful. Hence trying to elicit a bit of contrast by painting the sky black
