You shall be congradulated! Very good lighting there

I cringe in the house, drinking water like a horse instead of getting outside taking any photos!

That sunrise pic makes we want to quote Gimli from the Lord of the Rings movie but I won't. So far it hasn't gone over 30c here today, a lovely early morning pic btw.

I feel your misery. I have had to shovel several feet of global warming out of my driveway so far this season. Beautiful sky.

Anyone get up early enough to catch the Victorian sunrise? The fire over at Mirboo North had pumped a heap of smoke that made for a most blood red sunrise.

I missed the shot.

Global warming indeed ....hottest day for 70 years said the weather man......so what caused it 70 years ago.

Not nice conditions Adrian, we used to live 90 miles due East of Adelaide, so if you think its hot where you are it will be several degrees hotter out in the mallee.
Sincerely hope no idiot goes lighting anything up and thoughts & prayers to the firefighters in Victoria, its a tough and thankless task for the volunteers and pros alike.

How accurate were Temp measurement instruments 70 years ago? Adelaide's record is 46.1 C. The other day we had 45.5 C. Last year we had a record 15 days over 35 C. I lived in Pinnaroo we had heat waves nothing like this though.

Good picture, shame we know it's significance. We've been having record high temperatures here and it's winter. I'm not looking forward to summer.

Beautiful sunrise - thanks for sharing.

We are suffering through one of the coldest and snowiest winters I can remember.
It's -21C as I write this note.
You're in the oven and we're in the freezer - there has to be a compromise somewhere on this planet.

Fantastic sunrise shot, I like the rays shining through the clouds! Hope you have been spared from those nasty bush fires.
