Hello my name is Jared.

I feel like I'm finally hitting my stride photography-wise. Today I decided to take a few of myself. Let me know your thoughts on the post-processing.

I like the top one, however I'd like it better if you were walking or something in there.
How about setting the 12 second delay, and bouncing a ball or something along the lines?

I love the first shot. It is like a front cover of TV series on foreign contact.

Very nice backlit shot

Thanks for the comments guys! Little laker, yeah I probably should have done something with action. As you can see I intentionally posed in front of the sun, but that's the only thing I could think of. This "shoot" was totally random and accidental.

Don't know Richard, but some posters are a bit young for remembering John Wyndham's classic. T'was a great book, one I loved dearly when I read it as a teenager, many decades ago. And yeah, they do look a bit like Triffids!
