Off camera flash

Just playing with a little off camera flash and a flower. My wife really liked this one.

What do you think?

Very pretty, however your flowers are just a tad underexposed. Try giving them a higher flash exposure next time.

i like the concept of that shot... how about just a tiny amount of fill from over your shoulder.

This off camera flash thing is new to me, I am discovering that lighting can be very subjective.

Here is the original shot straight out of the camera.

I prefer this one over the first post. My wife preferred the OP with the the exposure mods.

I appreciate all the CC I can get, so thanks for your help.

Viv 285 with snoot full power at the top end of the stem with a Pentax 360 above camera right at 1/16th.
