I love the warm tones of the sunset against the cool tones of the snow covered field. Very effective shot. Hang in there, spring is coming.

Thanks. Last time was couple of weeks ago. It has been so grey since then until today.

Thanks! Nothing wrong with the middle winter except the greyness.

The texture and tone detail in foreground stuns me. Makes me almost feel as being there.. see as the passing sun sheds its last rays of light over the snowy field.
May i ask what kind of medium was used. I usually get noise mess when dealing with detail in darker areas.

Great sunset and colours of the snow are stunning. Here in south we also had a sunny day after a long grey scale period, so to speak

Thanks Josh. I really like to search a perfect pattern and texture in the snow. Hopefully i'll find it this winter.

Thanks Jimbo! Heh, maybe that's the bright side of grey days. When the sun finally comes out i have to go to take some photos.

Thanks jeffkpotter. I was sitting on the snow when i took this photo.
Gives a lot more interesting view when shooting from a lower level than a human eye.
