Boat House
Posted By: Jimbo, 01-31-2009, 07:07 PM

I have shot this place well it was foggy out. With the sun coming out a little today, I wanted to re-shoot the image of this boat house. I also was able to get a couple of Heron's too. Cheers. JIM

That last one of the Heron is a load of crap. LOL

I mean there is a load of crap on the ground to the Heron's right (cow dung?).

Ray

P.S. Sorry, I couldn't resist.

I like the first shot the best. Good lighting and composition ratio for the elements.

I remember the fog shot and the clear day was well worth going back for - nice detail indeed. The heron shots are spot on as well. Good job Jimbo.

I like that first boat house image a lot, Jim. Is the lens a wide angle? And where exactly is the boat house?

Hey Jim - I really dig #1 and #2 - as you'd expect. Very nice counterpoint to the foggy ones.

BTW, I don't see any that frozen water floating around that you claim exists up there.

Sreedoo.. Yes this is a wide angle lens [Pentax 12-24] and the shot was taken on a river called the Fraser which is just outside of Vancouver Canada. [only about 10 minutes from home for me] JIM
