Excellent shots. Really like the first, which is magnificent, capturing the feel of snowfall in grey tones. The third image looks a little dark on my monitor.

Great shots! The first one is my favorite. It has dramatic mood. Nicely captured snowfall, which is not easy to do.

I'd like to see it just as the squall stops. Maybe as goofy filtered sunlight comes through on the virgin flakes.

I have seen that with the lake effect bands in upstate NY. Along the highway, the bands are two miles of intense snow with intense winter sunlight on either side. They look like driving into a thunderstorm, but it is low flying snow. The transitions are crazy sun lighting.

Great series, Alan... that first shot is soooo nice! I've returned to it several times and enjoy it more every time I study it...

Nice series Alan - the snow ends here usually in March / April - although it snows somewhere in Alberta every month haha (well we have Mountians eh) . #1 is outstanding.

Yeah, it's driving me nuts too. We're supposed to hit the 50's this weekend. I'll believe it when I see it. It'll still be nothing more than a tease.....I'm sure there's more snow heading our way before this winter is over with.
