My wife's little brother, Oliver, came to visit recently. Oliver has Down's Syndrome and is such a joy to have around. He currently lives at a placed called Camphill Village... it's an amazing community out in the country of upstate New York... 600 acres of land. It's an intentional community for those with special needs. They have a cows and chickens, an organic vegetable and herb garden, a bakery. Everyone that lives there has a job. Really, an amazing place. I love this lil bugger. Everyone that has ever met him has such stories to tell. Though his communication is slow, he sometimes says the most profound, compassionate things. He'll be 25 this month.
