Frosen wonders...

Just got my 500D lens, shot a few frosen droplets on the twigs...was amazed to see these hundreds of tiny bubbles inside.

50D + Sigma 150/2.8 + 500D

Really amazing beautiful shots! It looks to me like this water was originally snow(?) which has undergone melt-freeze metamorphosis which formed these rounded ice grains. Here's some related information.
