Scott,

I agree with Jimbo, that second one is really good.

That church is just south west of Devon. About 15 minutes East of the airport and about a kilometer west of highway 60. There is a really beautiful all wood one west of the airport on highway 19, you simply turn left at the junction marked for Rabbit Hill Ski Club instead of right. Unfortunately it is surrounded by a windbreak of large spruce trees which makes it hard to get a decent shot of. Here is a shot of it...

I know about where this is. Next time back in Edmonton I will give it a try. I have been meaning to take a shot of the Church on the main street of Beamount too. Just waiting on the right lighting and time of day. I think up close with a wide angle shot would look great. Great shot of the other church condisering the lighting conditions. cheers Scott. JIM

I like the first shot. Very moody with its gold light. As to the second, shot, although I like it, I think the light is close to overwhelming.

I am also a fan of the first shot! More artistic, imo, still the second is also good!

Thanks for all the kind remarks guys. JMR, I have to agree I was pushing my luck shooting almost directly at that light. Luckily it worked out not too badly. That was really the only angle on that church due to the windbreak of trees surrounding it.
