Moon, simply..
Posted By: gawan, 02-09-2009, 03:48 PM

I have avoided to shoot the moon since last year when shot my first crap moon shots. Today the weather was so nice that I went out to try for new, this time much better equipped, these are maybe more like a testing series with Sigma 100-300 and Tamron 1.4x TC, but I post them here still. Have to say I am really impressed about the capabilities of this lens combination. These all are cropped somewhat:

#1 This is the title shot, plain and simple

#2 An experimental shot

#3 Another experimental shot

#4 This one is, well, I call it just "lunatic"

Hey Georg, nice series, I like the #1 and #2. The first one is really sharp.

The moon shot is pretty good. But you had to sneak in that last Christmas ball ornament. Georg it's almost Easter!

Great shots, Georg! The first is pretty sharp (better than mine, they are like yours last year, I guess....). And the third I like too!

Georg,

That second one has to be the dirtiest sensor I have ever seen.

LOL

Nice series.

Yes, like I had fallen to the bushes in the middle of a lens change, and some plant litter and a good amount of mod got in to the censor Thank you for the comment!
